Warangal: Over 350 autorickshaw drivers were screened for various diseases at the 40th free medical camp of the Varma Foundation held at Maheshwari Gardens on Station Road here on Sunday.

The patients were screened for diabetes, bone density, BP and other diseases while subjecting them to echo-2D and ECG tests at the medical camp conducted by Dr Srinivasa Varma of the foundation.

He advised auto-rickshaw drivers, who work hard day and night, to take good care of their health.

Physician Dr Karunakar, surgeon Dr Kurapati Ramesh, ENT specialist Dr Vinyl Reddy and others took part in the medical camp.

BJP leader Bakam Harishankar, TV Ashok and Medisetty Ramulu and TRS leaders Chintam Raju and Dr Kanche Naresh and others took part in the programme.
