Poor amenities at Nagarjunasagar disappoint tourists

Apart from visitors from various places in the country, hundreds of foreign tourists too visit the renowned Buddhist sites. Absence of foods stalls and the lack of accommodation, besides poor maintenance of parks are bringing bad name to the officials concerned.
Expensive lodging houses cater to the rich clients. But the common people visiting the holy are disappointed as there is not lodging house to cater to the middle-class tourists.
Except youth hostel, there is no place for common people to stay in Nagarjunasagar.
The ferries, which have been operated by the State Department of Tourism, failed to provide facilities for the tourists.
But the Tourism Department is minting money. The officials to provide facilities to the satisfaction of the tourists.
Locals are expressing their concern over the poor facilities at world famous tourist place.
Tourists have been urging the government to pay special attention to improve facilities at Sagar in the interest of tourists and the State.
