She inspected every section in the office and gave necessary suggestions to the staff.

Peddapalli: District Collector Devasena on Tuesday made a surprise visit to Tahsildar office of Palakurthi mandal and enquired the Tahsildar about the distribution of pattadar passbooks and cheques under Rythu Bandhu Scheme (RBS) and about government and assigned lands. She inspected every section in the office and gave necessary suggestions to the staff.

The Collector expressed disappointment over not updating the records of Part-1 and Part-2 and warned the officials to discharge their duties perfectly with commitment.

Devasena ordered the officials to enter complete details of distribution of passbooks and cheques under Part-1 and all issues related to lands that have to be solved under Part-2. They were also told to rectify both government and assigned lands that are identified.

Mistakes that have been done in first phase should not be repeated. The Collector warned of stern action against the officials, who behave negligently in discharging their duties.

Distribute passbooks and cheques under Rythu Bandhu Scheme to all th eligible farmers, she ordered. The government is providing insurance to the farmers, hence the officials should take necessary steps to ensure that every farmer in the mandal will get benefitted.

She further directed them to link the Aadhaar numbers of the farmers with their bank accounts. The complaints, received from the farmers during distribution of Rythu Bandhu cheques, should be solved immediately.The Collector gave suggestions to officials for solving the problems, which the officials face at grassroot.
