MLA assures `20 lakh for NBSS community building construction

Karimnagar: The TRS government had introduced several welfare schemes for the development of the people belonging to backward castes, stated local MLA Gangula Kamalakar.

He was the chief guest at the meeting organised by Telangana Nayee Brahmana Seva Sangham (NBSS) here at a private function hall in front of Collectorate on Tuesday.

The MLA said after forming separate Statehood for Telangana, the TRS government had introduced many welfare schemes for the development of weaker communities. He assured the representatives of Telangana Nayee Brahmana Seva Sangham of sanctioning of Rs 20 lakhs from the MLA funds for the construction of community building in the place that was allotted for Nayee Brahmins at Theegalagattupalli, near KCR building.

Kamalakar said that he would take various issues of Nayee Brahmins to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and will strive hard to solve them along with giving preference to the allotment of double bedroom houses to Nayee Brahmins.

Deputy Mayor Guggillapu Ramesh, NBSS State president DV Narendar, district president Neelam Mondaiaah, general secretary Pagadala Jayaram, Gaddam Mohan, Nagavelli Ramesh and others were present.
