Eturunagaram (Warangal): The water level of river Godavari has come down below danger level n Sunday. The water level of the river was recorded to be 7.60 metres at Pushkarghat in the mandal on the day and was receding slowly. Though the district not received any rains on Sunday, several streams like Dayyalavagu in Eturunagaram mandal and Paleruvagu in Narsimhulupet mandal were in spate following the inflows from upper catchment area.

Due to the rains, roads at several villages were damaged while villages like Kondai and Dodla in Eturunagarm were cut off from the mandal head quarters. Meanwhile, about 5000 acres of standing crop was said to be damaged by the rains.
