The ‘KTT Ladies Wing’ will promote the interest of women of the deprived sections of the society said Professor Mubeena Rafat adding, “Women empowerment through this unit can help address the grievances of the weaker sections, and cater to their essential and empowerment needs.”

Noted gynecologist and psychologists Dr Batool Chinoy and Dr Rafia Asif, who were imbibed in the team, exerted that the West is under an illusion that women in India are deprived of their basic rights; contrary to it, women here are more liberal and enjoy full freedom under the true democratic norms.

She said, “Social outfits like KTT and other non-governmental organisations are in the forefront to bring the other half of the society on front foot in every sphere of life”. Echoing her sentiments, Dr Rafia Asif said, “Indian women do not prioritise materialism. They are torchbearers of good for the society, and play an important role in building a better and an empowered society.”

Young educationalist Jwaria Fatima emphasised good leadership as key to campaigning for women while Youth Wing President Prof. Babar Zamaan. Dr Nazia Sultana Qureshi Prof. Ashraf Rafi, Dr Fatima Shahnaaz, Aisha Yasmeen and others also shared their views.

Earlier, Muhaddis-e-Deccan High School Principal Massrath welcomed the dignitaries, while the Vice Principal Firasat unnisa outlined the journey of KTT and its various welfare projects including the vocational training, rozgaar schemes among others. KTT Chairman Azeemuddin Qureshi, Managing Trustee Azmatullah IAS (Retd), KTT Managing Trustee Adv. Ghulam Yazdani, trustees Dr Haseebullah, Syed Khaja Vicaruddin congratulated the ladies wing team and urged them to work passionately towards this cause.
