Excerpts:

Tell us about your journey with yoga?
My journey was wonderful. After my graduation, I did YICC (Yoga Instructor Certification), YTIC (Yoga Therapy Instructor Certification), and diploma in Yoga Naturopathy, and also PG in Value Education and Spirituality. Masters and Grandmasters in Yoga. I was guided by Swamy Rangarajananda from Ramakrishna Mission to go for yoga because I was very flexible and love yoga. I was full-time into yoga training, but from past few years I slowly diverted towards only therapeutic yoga. My knowledge in yoga increased after reading Patanjali Yoga Sutras.

What is your take on women and yoga?
Yoga gives willpower and patience, which leads to a happy and successful life. Woman stands for these two qualities to rear her family. I feel there is a lot of commonality.

What made you start 'Sampoorna Yogdham'?
'Sampoorna Yogadham' is a wellness entity and I gave it the name because yoga works on body, mind and soul which is Sampoorna – complete. I started to reach as many as I can through yoga. I had lot many problems in the beginning. People did not want to practice the slow flowing Yoga. They felt exercise is best if it is fast and vigorous. Later, I also started to train teachers at the Yogadham.

What is the idea behind start Kamalaalaya Vastranidhi?
Kamalaalaya is my passion. I had been helping many people with their selection of dresses and designs. Then, I thought of starting KVC. Our store has totally new concept for shoppers. It has five different rooms, where they can alter any Indian clothing or western clothing as per their needs in the store itself. Moreover, saree or blouse designing services are also being offered. KVC store could be a great platform for fashion designers as well.

We are providing them venue for their conferences or presentations. They can pre-book the sarees and other clothes.Another interesting thing is we have kitty party lounges with perfect ambiance. The store offers wide range of collection to select from and quality and fashion are given highest priority. And, I think any new concept needs time to reach.
