Ed CET on June 3, notification released

The Higher Education Council on Monday released the notification of Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET) for admission into B Ed course- through Andhra University which was entrusted the job of conducting the examination which will take place June 3. There are nearly 350 B Ed colleges are there offering more than 6600 seats in the state. Applications are accepted through online from March 14. Candidates can get them at http://edcet2013.info The fee will be Rs 150/ and can be paid in any e-seva , meeseva, AP online centers. The candidates should have passed with at least 50% (for reserved category students- 40% ) marks in degree examinations. Students from other states can also apply. The qualifying mark will be 37 out of total marks of 150 . For students belonging to SC/ST communities there will be no marks for ranking.
