Says Ravula Manjula who scored a rare 100 on 100 in the Telugu language in final year BCom exam you2Purnima Sriram Where did you do your schooling from? I studied at Government School, Ibrahimpatnam. After my schooling, I joined Vasundhara Junior College for Intermediate course in CEC (Telugu medium). Later I went to Ibrahimpatnam Degree College to pursue B.Com.
How did you manage to get cent percentage marks in Telugu?
I love Telugu. I have been passionate about learning and knowing more about the language ever since I was a child. I used to read Telugu grammar books. Also, my teacher Kandukuri Sriramulu was a huge support. He used to make me practice grammar and gave me in-depth insights about the language.
What books did you refer to?
I read many grammar books. I also used to read various Telugu books and magazines. The notes that my sir had given me also helped. Did you expect that you would score 100 marks? No, I never expected to score so well. I worked hard and gave my best shot, but never expected that I would score full marks. I was recently felicitated by Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for my performance. It was a proud moment for us. Do you feel a sense of achievement? Yes, I do. I worked hard for my parents. My father is a shepherd and my mother is a daily wage labourer. They are illiterate so they continually worked hard to give me quality education. It was my dream to make them proud. Scoring full marks and being felicitated by the CM paid off their hard work.
