Prof. YF Jayakumar, Dean, Faculty of Law, Osmania University, Hyderabad, got elected as a member of Governing Council of Indian Law Institute under Deans constituency. According to a press note released on Thursday, he will be there in the Governing Council for a period of 3 years as an Honorary Member.

This is the first time a Law teacher of Osmania University got elected to Indian Law Institute under Dean's quota. Earlier 30 years back Prof. GCV Subba Rao a distinguished academician and Principal of the University College of Law represented Osmania University as a General Member to the Indian Law Institute.

Prof Jayakumar thanked all the members of the Indian Law Institute for extending their support and choosing him to the Governing Council.
