Five years from now, what will be the future of animation industry in India? In five years, India will be the hotspot for the animation industry. A lot of work is in progress in India. If you look at the making of the movies like Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, and Life of Pi - all these movies are made in cities like Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Many animation companies are outsourcing work to India. For instance, 40 per cent of the production part of 'Guardian' and 'Life of Pi' which won Oscar Award were outsourced to India. Green Gold Animation, Hyderabad, which produced Chhota Bheem animated movie for Pogo TV created a buzz among children. Presently a lot of work is being done in Hyderabad, Pune, Bengaluru and Mumbai. In coming days, these centres will be a hub for animated movies.
What kind of job opportunities can students expect in animation industry in the near future? Opportunities come to students who are extremely talented and skilled in the work.
