Kakatiya University National Service Scheme programme coordinator Dr Suresh Lal has been awarded the "Global Environmental Excellence Award" for the year 2013 by the Economic Growth Society of India (EGSI).
The award was presented him at an international seminar held at Kathmandu, Nepal on April 20 for his contribution in the field of environmental economics and economic of sanitation.
Suresh Lal, an associate professor of economics, has been working in the field for more than fifteen years. He has published four books and thirty papers in the national and international journals in the field of environmental economics.
