kits2Students of Kakatiya Institute of Technology, Warangal, belonging to Research and Development (R&D) group, have designed an all terrain Unmanned ground vehicle (UGV). The vehicle named Twinkle UGV can travel on stones, mud, sand and slopes making it all terrain. The students have designed with an objective of serving Indian defence needs in future. "Our principal Prof K Ashok Reddy, inspired at every stage of the project," said the team members. The UGV will be upgraded by mounting with light detection and ranging system and other packs, informed project members. The team includes: P Samhith Reddy, Ch Anush Reddy, N Saiteja, N Tarun Teja, B Nikhil, G Sandeep, K Veeresh and V Nagesh of Mechanical Engineering department.
