Missile man motivates students

"Where there is virtue in the heart, there is beauty in the character; when there is beauty in character, there is harmony in the home. When there is harmony in the home, there is harmony in the nation. When there is harmony in the nation, there is peace in the world. If you have beauty in the character everything in the world is possible. It can be attained from parents in the spiritual environment," said Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India.
He was addressing students at the Silver Jubilee Year and Annual Day celebrations of Defence Laboratories School- Research Centre IMARAT, in Ranga Reddy district on Tuesday in the school premises. He motivated the students with great values like creativity, courage and confidence with several small instances and poems penned by him. He made the students repeat resolutions to become responsible citizens and to contribute towards the glory of the country.
The former President of India inaugurated mini science exhibition at event. Students exhibited models to explain various concepts in science. As part of the programme various cultural dances, western dance were performed by the students. The grand finale was filled with patriotism.
