Soft Computing workshop at GITAM

GITAM University Department of Computer Science & Engineering is organising a two- day National Seminar on "Soft Computing" under TEQIP-II, S.C 1.2 program at its Visakhapatnam Campus from March 22 to 23. Prof. K Lakshmi Prasad, Principal, GITAM Institute of Technology informed in a press release on Thursday. The theme of this seminar is to provide a platform to bring together experts, practitioners and researches working in the above said areas. This seminar envisages elaborate lectures by leading resource persons and other experts, interactive discussions and identifying frontline research problems/ objectives, for being taken up by researches for intensive study through projects and other modes, he further said. Dr C Chandra Sekhar, IIT-Madras, Dr Sukumar Mishra, IIT-Delhi, Dr Banshidhar Majhi, NIT-Rourkela, Dr SK Ghosh, IIT-Kharagpur and other eminent experts will participate as resource persons in the seminar, release added.
