The older ones go on a backpack trip, while the younger ones while away the time hanging out with friends and catching up for coffee. However, there is another breed of youngsters who believe in utilising their holidays to do something productive. Rajesh Golapalli, a commerce student, has joined for a crash course in Spanish at Ramakrishna math. "Experts say knowing a foreign language is beneficial. I will be taught basics of the language in three months of the course. Since during the vacation, I won't have any other subject to study, I can concentrate on learning Spanish." While Rajesh is spending his holidays learning Spanish, Pankaj Patil, an intermediate first year pass out from Narayana Junior College has already started studying his syllabus for second year. To everyone's surprise, he is happy that his college has started to teach them for next year. It will help them study well for competitive entrance tests. Priyanka Sidhani from Sri Aurobindo Junior College plans to study a certificate course in animation design. She says, "Every corporate organisation wants employees who are qualified in animation. The course will help me clinch a good job in future." Courses are not all students want to study this summer. Keerthana Murlidhar, a Loyola Academy student says, "I want to make my vacation productive.
