Addressing at Suchirindia Foundation's Sir C.V. Raman 'Young Genius' awards presentation for meritorious students and teachers, the minister reminded the teachers of their responsibility in carving the young minds. "Educational institutions should strive for overall development of students rather confining for ranks and merits in academics," he said. The meritorious students were awarded with 14 gold medals, 14 national rankers, 28 state rankers, 308 district rankers, 10 chatralaya puraskars and 5 gurubrahma awards. He appreciated the gestures and forward looking approach of Dr. Y Kiron, Chairman, Suchirindia Foundation and Honorary Consul of Republic of Bulgaria.
