Prof. T Vijay Kumar of the Department of English, Osmania University has been invited by Tanner Humanities Center (THC), The University of Utah, Salt Lake City, USA to design and teach a course titled “The Novel in India” for senior undergraduate and postgraduate students of the English dept of the university during the Fall Semester 2013 (Aug 20-Dec 14).
The invitation is a part of the OU-THC Professor Exchange Program Agreement signed between the two universities in 2010. So far under this Agreement, two professors from Utah—Prof Wilfred Samuels of Department of English (in 2011) and Prof Spike Hampson of Department of Geography (in 2013) — have visited OU while one professor from OU—Prof V Yoga Jyotsna of Department of Political Science (in 2011)—has visited Utah.
