Justice Nooty Ram Mohan Rao of the AP High court on Tuesday reserved his verdict on a batch of writ petitions filed by the management of vocational colleges including the management association questioning a government order requiring them to stop admissions.
The petitioners pointed out that there are about 1,400 colleges of which 640 were run by private managements and they were offering a course equivalent to intermediate. The government issued an order under thee Para Medical Board Act which said that the minimum qualification for the para medicals was Intermediate.
