IT industry will continue to grow: TCS VP.While delivering the pre placement talk in GITAM campus he given a hope to the engineering graduates that the IT sector is performing well in the country with huge exports.

IT is the world’s most dynamic industry and will continue to grow worldwide if we properly understand and fulfill the requirements of customers, said by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Vice-President V Rajanna on Monday at GITAM University, Visakhapatnam.

While delivering the pre placement talk in GITAM campus he given a hope to the engineering graduates that the IT sector is performing well in the country with huge exports. He mentioned that 33 per cent of the TCS employers are women and the company established a special women BPO center at Middle East. He said that there is lot of scope for R&D in IT sector and TCS established a largest software R&D centre in the country which was also a first IT R&D wing. He advised that good communications skills, fast learning skills, strong knowledge in fundamentals will give wide opportunities in IT sector. Software testing, enterprise resource planning, business process management are few emerging areas where the budding engineers concentrate for better placements, he added.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. G Subrahmanyam hoped that this year the TCS would recruit more number of engineering graduates for their projects. Registrar Prof M.Potharaju, GITAM Institute of Technology Principal Prof Lakshmi Prasad , Training& Placement Officer Dr.Ramturaga and others participated in the program.
