Eight students with engineering background have scored 100 percentile in the Common Admission Test (CAT) results declared on Tuesday for admission to India's top B-schools. “The eight are all boys with an engineering background,” CAT convenor Rohit Kapoor said. There are 10 who have scored 99.99 percentile, one of whom is a girl.
“The CAT results will be available for access until Dec 31, 2014 on the CAT website (www.cat2013.iimidr.ac.in) and the candidates are advised to retain a printed copy of their score card,” added Kapoor.
A total of 1,74,000 sat for CAT, conducted at 76 test centres across 40 cities from October 16 to November 11, 2013.
About 1.74 lakh took the test. Candidates can log on to to check their results. CAT 2013 was conducted in 76 secure test centres across 40 cities over 25 days from October 16 to November 11, 2013.
