Sachdev in his address to the first year MBA students on ‘Commencement Day 2014’ of Amjad Ali Khan College of Business Administration, advised the freshers to look beyond the books and grades to excel professionally when they graduate.

Sharing learning experiences from his Nobel laureate mentors and professional encounters with CEOs of some of the biggest companies in the world, including Microsoft’s Bill Gates, he said that profits and money are by products of the business.
He urged students to dream proclaiming that the ability to dream and work relentlessly towards achieving it will help them in the long run. Sharing the essence of his learning, he added that bringing excellence in your own life will change your life beyond education.
He said competition is a myth perpetuated by under-achievers of the world elaborating that one must compete with self; bringing excellence in one’s own life will change it beyond education.
