Medak Collector honours GITAM Student Chapter
Medak District Collector Ronald Rose gave appreciation certificates on the eve of Republic Day celebrations held at Sangareddy to Engineers without Borders (EWB), the GITAM University Hyderabad Student Chapter.
Hyderabad: Medak District Collector Ronald Rose gave appreciation certificates on the eve of Republic Day celebrations held at Sangareddy to Engineers without Borders (EWB), the GITAM University Hyderabad Student Chapter.
EWB was honoured for its outstanding contribution towards the society. The students- Joy Chakraborty, Abhinav Ojha, Sadiq, Kirthi Reddy, Vikas, Spandana, Rachana, Vikas Bidhuri, Paramesh, Ravi Kiran, Eswar and Vamshi received the appreciation certificates.
The socially-conscious EWB GITAM chapter had organised three health camps at Mokhila of RR District, Rudraram and GITAM University campus of Medak District. They provided bio-toilets in Medak District and Rs 50 lakh funds and three trucks of food grains, blankets, clothes for Chennai flood victims.
GITAM School of Technology Director Prof N Siva Prasad, Principal Prof Ch Sanjay, Resident Director DVVSR Varma, EWD advisor YD Dwidevi and faculty appreciated EWB GITAM Students chapter members and promised to continue their support for best activities.
