Hyderabad: The Playschool, Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, held its annual sports meet 2016 on Thursday, in the school campus. The Director of the school, Hari Hara Prasad and Principal, Jayathi Venkataraman presided over the sports day.

Students walking with banners proclaiming the message to conserve nature, to stay fit and healthy through slogans captivated the audience.

This was followed by the oath swearing ceremony to uphold the spirit of friendly competition. The Director unfurled the school emblem and the principal declared the sports meet open. Nursery students put forth a spectacular inaugural dance.

Students of LKG put on amazing display of Co-Ordination through a floral drill of vibrant exercises to stay fit and also through the formations their verve of being a Niveditian.

The participants displayed great sportsman spirit as they took part in the track and field events which included Quick see, Happy basket, Greedy crocodile and more many enthusiastic spectators from the playschool joined in for a ' Chocolate Race' that was extemporaneously organized by the principal who, later gave away the prizes to the winners.

The programme concluded with aerobics event saluting the Olympic winners and athletes who brought many accolades to the nation. The principal of the school, Jayathi Venkataraman in the speech asked the students to eat healthy, exercise regularly and keep fit at all times.
