MITS inks MoU with Ming Chi University of Technology
The Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ming Chi University of Technology, New Taipei City, a leading University in Taiwan. This initiative is to further MITS’s vision of a becoming a globally recognised research and academic institution and cater to the challenging needs of the society and the industrial world.
Hyderabad: The Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ming Chi University of Technology, New Taipei City, a leading University in Taiwan. This initiative is to further MITS’s vision of a becoming a globally recognised research and academic institution and cater to the challenging needs of the society and the industrial world.
Both institutions have agreed to cooperate in developing joint research and training programs for faculty and students. There will also be regular faculty and student exchanges.
Additionally, the two institutions will cooperate in designing new academic programs and jointly hosting international research conferences, seminars and symposia.
This MoU is significant as Taiwan is one of India’s largest trade partners and is known for its expertise in semiconductor fabrication, mobile device manufacturing, electronics, construction, infrastructure, and medical device manufacturing.
MITS will be an important academic and research partner for Ming Chi University in the future. This initiative will enable students from MITSto travel to Taiwan and work on research and paid internships.
It will also enable MITS students to pursue higher studies in Taiwan with fully funded scholarships. MITS has given ample scope for mini-projects, full semester internships, etc in its curriculum so as to enable the students to significant hands-on opportunitiesand industrial exposure. The academic talent of MITS is one of the core reasons that Ming Chi University of Technology has entered into MoU.
