APS inter-school athletic festival conducted
Army Public School Golconda celebrated its 3rd ARETE- Inter School Athletic Fest on Thursday at Makhen Singh Athletics Stadium. Seventeen schools in and around the city participated in the fest.
Hyderabad: Army Public School Golconda celebrated its 3rd ARETE- Inter School Athletic Fest on Thursday at Makhen Singh Athletics Stadium. Seventeen schools in and around the city participated in the fest.
Brigadier Rohit Butalia Commandant Artillery Centre, Golconda was the chief guest on the occasion. The fest started with releasing of balloons followed by the chief guest declaring the fest open.
The March Past by different contingents of various schools showcased each athlete’s preparedness to create new sports mission and vision.
The spirit of sportsmanship and sharpness of desire, dream and yearning to accolade laurels to self and the schools they represented was seen in each athlete.
The display of marching band of the school kept the participating schools spellbound. The intermittent appearance of little cherub cheer girls de-stressed the athletes during long distance track events.
Army Public School RK Puram has won the “Over All Championship” for girls as well as boys. The Principal Vidya Muralidharan complemented the winners and wished her heartfelt wishes for their future endeavour.
