Nature our Teacher

Hyderabad: Nature our Teacher - a learning expedition by "Outlife Experiential Education" saw 15 kids and 6 educators go on a two- day exploration of nature around the green spaces of Hyderabad.

The places they visited were dry deciduous forest areas like KBR Park, botanical garden Kondapur and wetlands like Lotus Pond, Vengal Rao park etc. It was a city bound learning expedition based on the principles of expeditionary learning and systems thinking.

The aim of the expedition was to help the children and educators understand how nature adapts, by observing different species on their behavior, food habits, habitats and how different species are interdependent. The children were assisted by experiential educators and naturalists to draw inferences and creating meaningful learning from their experiences.
