MAHE hits a global QS ranking high
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) on Friday announced its ascension in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018. Under the subject rankings for medicine, MAHE has leapfrogged remarkably and is currently ranked in the group of 401-450. In the previous year it was classified in the 451-500 group.

Under the subject rankings for medicine, MAHE has leapfrogged remarkably and is currently ranked in the group of 401-450. In the previous year it was classified in the 451-500 group. In pharmacy and pharmacology segment, MAHE has retained its ranking in the 251-300 category. Last year, MAHE was the only private institute in the genre to figure in the QS world-ranking list.
The annual QS World University Rankings by Subject compares academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations and impact. Each of the subject rankings is compiled using four sources, according to Dr H Vinod Bhat, Vice-Chancellor of MAHE. He said that following the milestone, they would now focus on achieving rankings for other schools/streams in the coming year.
