Mahindra Ecole Centrale(MEC), an Indo-French engineering college, organised the first Centrale Connect Conclave at the campus on Monday. Dr Satheesh Reddy, the Director General, Missiles and Strategic Systems, and Scientific Advisor to the Defense Minister was the chief guest.  

Hyderabad: Mahindra Ecole Centrale(MEC), an Indo-French engineering college, organised the first Centrale Connect Conclave at the campus on Monday. Dr Satheesh Reddy, the Director General, Missiles and Strategic Systems, and Scientific Advisor to the Defense Minister was the chief guest.

A panel discussion on the possibilities that exist due to the demographic dividend that India can reap from also took place at the conclave.

Hosting the event, Dr Yajulu Medury, Director, Mahindra Ecole Centrale, said, “At Mahindra École Centrale, we believe in faculty balancing and a student centered approach. Since failure is an important part of learning, we are fostering an environment that encourages risk taking behaviour". MEC focuses on multi disciplinary learning and is committed to the holistic development of the students.

The Panelists included Prakash Bodla, Vice President - Engineering, United Technologies, Venkat Rajaraman, CEO - Cygni Energy Pvt. Ltd., Antoine Poison, Co-founder – StanPlus, Amit Chakravarty, Chief of Staff, Office of the Director General – ICRISAT, Karthigeyan Ramaswamy, MD - CFM Aircraft Engine Support South Asia Pvt. Ltd., Mathan Ramaiah, Design Director - Fountainhead Group and Dr NJ Rajaram, Director - National Institute of Fashion Technology, Hyderabad were present.
