The Indus Entrepreneurs conducts workshop at Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology

Hyderabad: The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), a non-profit venture devoted to entrepreneurs globally through mentoring, networking, education, funding and incubation, has conducted a one-day hands-on workshop pertaining to entrepreneurship at Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET) on Monday. Over 140 students participated in the event which involved hands-on activity of creating the Lean Canvas for their business ideas.

TiE Steering Committee Members Bhanu Prakash Varla, Subba Raju Pericherla and TiE Hyderabad Programme Champion J Vamsi Krishna were present at the event. On this occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also exchanged between TiE and VNRVJIET. 

Speaking at the occasion, entrepreneur and TiE Steering Committee member Bhanu Prakash Varla said that change is imminent and important and that brings new environment, new relations, new companions, and new ideas and advised that students must learn to change their perception so that they can change themselves.

TiE nurtures, mentors and incubates passionate students with new ideas to become entrepreneurs. He also outlined the Union and State governmental schemes focused to develop entrepreneurs and that entrepreneurship is a career option for anyone with Dream, Dedication, Communication, Passion, and Networking, Bhanu said, adding that Risk is only a perceived feeling and that he does not believe that entrepreneurship is an avoidable risk, he added.
