GITAM to organise two-day national conference

​Hyderabad: GITAM (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad, Department of Physics will organise a two-day national conference on ‘Physics and Chemistry of Functional Materials-2019’ (PCFM) at its campus on February 21-22. Sponsored by Naval Research Board of DRDO. Prof Balaji Rao Ravuri, HoD-Physics and convener of this conference has informed in a press release on Tuesday.

The invention and development of novel functional materials for various technological applications has become the fast developing field of research in the past few decades. This research has lead to a development of new synthetic techniques and fabrication methods of new devices for wide range of applications.

This conference offers a platform for the researchers to share their experiences and to enrich their knowledge on the advances in functional materials. The scope of the conference covers Functional Materials, Materials Synthesis and Processing, Materials for Energy and Environment, Composite Materials and Glasses, Advanced Polymeric and Biomaterials, Nano materials and Devices etc.
