The third T20I between West Indies and India, in Guyana, saw the Indian bowlers put on a commendable show yet again.

Winning the toss and electing to bowl first, Indian skipper Virat Kohli tasted early success as Deepak Chahar wreaked havoc with the new ball. The lanky pacer hit the target areas right from the word go and accounted for Evin Lewis, Sunil Narine and Shimron Hetmyer early in the innings to leave the Windies reeling at 14-3 in 4 overs.

Senior batsman Kieron Pollard then held fort and steadied the ship with Nicholas Pooran. The duo stitched a crucial 66-run partnership before Pooran fell prey to Navdeep Saini.

Pollard though seemed assured as he continued to punish the Indian bowlers. The man from Trinidad and Tobago was in red hot form and smashed six massive to keep the crowd thoroughly entertained. Just when the Windies looked set to register a competitive score, Saini struck once again with the wicket of Pollard to put India on top. Skipper Carlos Braithwaite soon followed suit to leave the hosts stranded at 119-6 in the 18th over.

The hosts though made an impressive recovery from there on to put on a decent score on the board. Rovman Powell and Fabian Allen belted some lusty blows towards the end to power West Indies to 146 at the end of their 20 overs.

While a target of 147 might not raise an alarm in the Indian dressing room, the task certainly doesn't come as an easy one. The men in blue will be wary of Sheldon Cottrell and co and will be looking to sail through without any hiccups towards a clean sweep.
