Apple iPhone Duo pre-orders open in India today
Apple's first foldable iPhone is now available for purchase in India. The company will begin taking pre-orders for the iPhone Duo at 5:30 PM IST today which's October 16. The phone will be available in stores and in the hands of customers starting from October 23.
The iPhone Duo was introduced at Apple’s ‘Surprise and Shine’ event on September 9. This new device has a design. Apple is aiming it at people who want a screen, for watching videos, browsing the web and doing multiple things at once. At the time it was still small enough to carry easily.
When folded, the device has a 5.4-inch outer display. Open it up and users get a much larger 7.6-inch inner screen. The phone runs on Apple’s A20 Pro chipset and features a dual rear camera setup with a 48MP system.
iPhone Duo price in India
The new foldable iPhone starts at Rs 2,99,900 for the 256GB version. Buyers who need more storage can choose from four configurations:
- 256GB: Rs 2,99,900
- 512GB: Rs 3,24,900
- 1TB: Rs 3,74,900
- 2TB: Rs 4,49,900
The 2TB model sits at the top of the range, making it a particularly expensive option for buyers who want maximum storage.
iPhone Duo offers in India
Apple is giving buyers a few ways to bring down the upfront cost. Eligible customers can choose 12-month no-cost EMI on their purchase.
There is also cashback of up to Rs 7,000 for customers using American Express, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank cards. The cashback is subject to the terms and conditions.
For those planning to exchange an existing smartphone, Apple Trade In can provide benefits of up to Rs 81,500, depending on the device being exchanged and its condition.
Buyers will also get access to three months of Apple Music, Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade, wherever applicable under the offer rules.
Where can you pre-order the iPhone Duo?
Pre-orders start at 5:30 PM today. The iPhone Duo will be available for purchase on October 23. You can place your order on Apple’s store at Apple Store locations or, through chosen retail partners.
Apple’s website will also let buyers pick their setup, add extra gear and check trade‑in and financing details before they finish buying.
The iPhone Duo is also listed on Flipkart. However, its pre-order status and available offers may differ, so customers should check the retailer’s official listing before placing an order.
