Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi 18 Fold in China. It is the company’s book-style foldable phone. This new phone has a more compact design. The design is similar to that of some competitors. The phone includes Xiaomi's flagship Xring O3 chipset. It also has a Leica-optimized rear camera system. The phone has a 6000 mAh battery. The phone has AMOLED displays on both the outer cover and the inside. It runs HyperOS 4 based on Android 17. Pre-orders are now available, in China. Sales will start this month.

The Xiaomi 18 Fold starts at CNY 10,999 (~₹1,55,000) for 12GB+256GB. The 12GB+512GB variant costs CNY 11,999, while 16GB+512GB is priced at CNY 12,999. The top model, 16GB+1TB, costs CNY 14,999 (~₹2,11,300) and is the only variant with LPDDR6 RAM — lower tiers use LPDDR5X. A limited ceramic edition (16GB+1TB, 1,500 units) costs CNY 15,999. This marks Xiaomi's first phone above CNY 10,000. Sales begin September 10 in China; no India launch confirmed yet.
Xiaomi also offers a Ceramic Special Edition that has 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage which is a great choice, for power users. Ceramic Special Edition is priced at CNY 15,999 which's about 225,400 rupees.
The Xiaomi 18 Fold comes in three colours: Black, Nishino Red and Warm Golden White. Now the phone is available for pre-order, in China and sales will start later this month.
