5 of a Warangal family killed in accident on Srisailam highway
In a ghastly accident, five persons were killed on the spot on the Srisailam highway between Amangal and Kalwakurthy on Monday.
Nagarkurnool: In a ghastly accident, five persons were killed on the spot on the Srisailam highway between Amangal and Kalwakurthy on Monday.
According to sources, five persons travelling in an Innova car were killed on the spot when their speeding car collided head on with a lorry on the Hyderabad-Srisailam highway.
According to Amangal police, all the deceased were said to be residents of Warangal district belonging to a family of a head police constable.
It is said that they were back on to their way to Warangal after having the darshan at Srisailam temple.
The police said that the main reason for the accident could be due to over speeding or negligence of the driver of the car. A case has been registered and investigation initiated.
