Accused wanted in woman murder case arrested in Hyderabad
The Hyderabad Commissionerate’s East Zone Task force sleuths along with Saidabad Police on Sunday arrested an absconding accused by name Ramavath Shukru Naik (38), who was involved in rape and murder case occurred on September 11 in Saidabad police station limits.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissionerate's East Zone Task force sleuths along with Saidabad Police on Sunday arrested an absconding accused by name Ramavath Shukru Naik (38), who was involved in rape and murder case occurred on September 11 in Saidabad police station limits.
They seized blood stained shirt and a mobile phone from the possession of the accused. On September 11, the accused came into contact with the deceased M Anjamma (43, a labourer) who stood on the road at Champapet and lured her to have sex by offering alcohol.
After consuming alcohol with the deceased, he took her to an open plot covered by the bushes with darkness in Vinay Nagar in Saidabad and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her.
Later in fear to conceal him of the offence killed her by repeatedly hitting with stones and bricks on her head. After brutally murdering her, he fled to his native place.
On reliable information, they caught the accused on Sunday at Champapet and handed over to Saidabad police for further action.
