Collector Hemanta Keshav Patil
Nagar Kurnool: The district administration has taken action against several elected representatives over alleged rule violations, misuse of authority and irregularities in government fund utilisation. District Collector Hemanta Keshav Patil ordered a ban on the cheque powers of sarpanches of Molachintalapally in Kollapur mandal, Pentlavelli in Pentlavelli mandal and Karukonda in Bijinepally mandal.
District Panchayat Officer Sriramulu said inquiries found delays in clearing bills related to development works and alleged misuse of powers by the sarpanches.
