Telangana Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao has said that all the Sewerage Treatment Plants ( STPs) proposed in Hyderabad will start functioning in a couple of years.
Replying to a question in the Assembly, The minister said that government constituted Shah committee to look into the sewerage treatment in a comprehensive way. Government is aware of the outbreak of viral fevers in Telangana and necessary measures were already taken to curb the menace.
