Sri Raja Rajeswara Swamy temple authorities Natarajan and Rajasekhar welcomed the IG and his family at the main temple and led them into the sanctum sanctorum. There the IG sat beside the Shiva Lingam for about 10 minutes and paid his obeisance.

Temple EO Dusa Rajeshwar and PRO Upadhyayula Chandrasekhar explained the significance of Rajanna, Bhemanna and Bhaddi Pochamma temples to IG KP Venkateswara Rao. Later Rajanna temple priest showered Veda asirvachanam on Balaghat Inspector General of Police KP Venkateswara Rao and his family at Nagireddy Mandapam and the PRO presented laddu prasadam to him.
