New Delhi/Hyderabad: The 2020 budget session of the Parliament started with the joint address of the President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday, following which the budget will be presented here on Saturday.

Speaking to media here after the Parliament is adjourned, BJP MP Bandi Sanjay said the people who oppose CAA would remain traitors for future generations and demanded clarification as to why the TRS party opposed the CAA.

He questioned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao why the Centre had to give Indian citizenship for those who planted bombs in Gokhul chat and Lumbini park. The MP said that the TRS leaders should be ashamed of opposing the CAA.

He stated there is no other party in India which is secular than the BJP and criticised the KCR government for not delivering Central schemes to minorities in the State. Sanjay has made it clear that people are noticing the dual stance of the Chief Minister.

KCR is using Muslims for politics and the minorities in the State need not fear about CAA. The Muslims are not opposing CAA, but the opposition parties who viewed the issue from a political point of view are opposing it, he mentioned.

He also said no matter how many challenges the Central government faces, NRC will also be implemented in the coming days. The Central government is committed to the development of Telangana State.

In his speech, the President explained how the country is progressing. On the other hand, KCR wants to make his son KT Rama Rao as future Chief Minister for Telangana State.
