Burglars decamp with 6 tola gold in Mahbubnagar

In a daylight heist, the burglars decamped with 6 tolas gold and Rs 10,000 from a house near Ayyappa Swamy temple in Gangapur village of Jadcherla mandal on Tuesday.
Mahbubnagar: In a daylight heist, the burglars decamped with 6 tolas gold and Rs 10,000 from a house near Ayyappa Swamy temple in Gangapur village of Jadcherla mandal on Tuesday.
According to Jadcherla police, the burglars targeted the locked house located on the outskirts of the village and broke open the locks and looted the house in the afternoon.
As it was a hot sunny day and the house was on the outskirts, there was no movement of public. Taking this as an advantage, the miscreants targeted the house, said the police.
"We have registered a case and investigating the matter. We are in the process of collecting clues and hoping to arrest the culprits soon," said Balaraj, Circle Inspector, Jadcherla.
