CM Revanth Reddy urges Adilabad Congress leaders to strengthen party
Khanapur: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Bomma Mahesh Goud have urged Congress leaders from the erstwhile Adilabad district to ensure that government welfare schemes reach every eligible beneficiary while strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
Khanapur MLA and Nirmal District Congress Committee (DCC) president Vedma Bojju Patel shared the details with Hans News Service over the phone from New Delhi on Tuesday.
A delegation from the erstwhile Adilabad district had participated in a protest led by senior AICC leader Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi. Following the protest, the delegation met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence in New Delhi. Those present included MLC Dande Vithal, Asifabad DCC president Atram Suguna, Mancherial DCC president Raghunath Reddy and Asifabad constituency in-charge Ajmeera Shyam Naik. During the meeting, leaders discussed the political situation in the district, public grievances and constituency development. Revanth Reddy and Mahesh Goud reportedly stressed that welfare delivery and party strengthening must receive equal priority, urging leaders to resolve public issues and accelerate development works.
