Congress MPs meet Union Minister Nitin Gadkari
The Telangana Congress MPs Uttam Kumar Reddy, Revanth Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has met with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday afternoon in Delhi.
Delhi: The Telangana Congress MPs Uttam Kumar Reddy, Revanth Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has met with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday afternoon in Delhi.
On this occasion, MPs have taken the TSRTC employees issue to the notice of the Union minister. The meeting continued for more than half an hour. It's reported that MP Revanth Reddy has urged Minister Nitin Gadkari to resolve the RTC issue as early as possible.
However, Gadkari has already said that the centre will not be quite over the state government's attitude towards the RTC strike. During the meeting, Minister assured MPs that the centre would intervene in the RTC issue as it has got shares and the RTC division is not yet completed.
On the other side, RTC JAC leaders have called off the strike and decided to return to the duties from Tuesday. With this, all employees reached bus depots, where the police stopped them and imposed Section 144 at the premises of all depots across the state.
