Elaborate arrangements have been made for the counting of votes of the recently concluded Mandal and Zilla Parishad elections on Tuesday.
Hyderabad: Elaborate arrangements have been made for the counting of votes of the recently concluded Mandal and Zilla Parishad elections on Tuesday.
The counting will be taken up from 8 am on June 4 and the results will be announced on the same day after the completion of counting of votes.
The elections were held to elect ZPTC and MPTC members in three phases in the State.
State Election Commission authorities said the Mandal and ZP Chairpersons will be elected by the newly won MPTC and ZPTC members on June 7 and 8 respectively.
To avoid any untoward incident, police forces were deployed at all counting centres in all districts.
Special police parties will be pressed into service if any violent incidents occur.
