Covid surge continues in Telangana

- State logs 920 cases, highest single day count so far
- GHMC contributes with 732 cases; 5 died of the deadly virus, taking the toll to 364
Hyderabad: Telangana reported single day highest of 920 cases pushing the total tally to 11, 364 on Thursday.
GHMC contributes 737 cases. Also, five deaths were reported taking the total so far to 230.
The total number of discharged patients and active cases were 4688 and 6446 respectively. The sample testing special drive will witness a couple of days break in view of test reports of over 8200 samples is pending as on Thursday.
Meanwhile the Health department has stated that private labs were not uploading Covid tests data every day.
It said it will entrust a team to look into this issue and contemplate further course of action.
