Mancherial: Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) is emerging as a lifesaving treatment for critically ill patients suffering from acute kidney failure, doctors at Medicover Hospital, Karimnagar, said during an awareness seminar held in Mancherial.

The specialists explained that many ICU patients are too unstable to undergo conventional dialysis. CRRT provides continuous 24-hour blood purification while maintaining stable blood pressure, allowing toxins, excess fluids, and waste to be removed gradually without placing additional stress on vital organs such as the heart, lungs, and liver. Doctors said the advanced therapy has significantly improved recovery chances for patients with multi-organ dysfunction, with several lives already saved through the treatment. The seminar was attended by Center Head Gurra Kiran, Nephrologist Dr. Ramchander, Critical Care Specialist Dr. Upender Reddy, Emergency Medicine Specialist Dr. Satyanarayana, Marketing Manager Kota Karnakar, Harish, Pabba Siddhu, and other team members.
