Eight nominations rejected in warangal

Warangal: The nominations of eight candidates to the Warangal Parliamentary constituency (SC-15) elections were rejected after the scrutiny of the papers here on Tuesday, Returning Officer and Urban District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil said.
The nominations of Barigala Shiva, Martha Rajabhadraiah, Hanamkonda Sambaiah, B Prabhakar, Jayapal Vonteru, Dommati Mounika, Devaraju Pendala and T Satheesh Babu were rejected.
The scrutiny was conducted in the presence of election agents of the candidates and the Lok Sabha General Observer for Warangal PC Dr Veena Pradhan.
The officials after thoroughly scrutinising the nomination papers rejected papers filed by eight candidates.
With this, 21 candidates are in the fray for the Warangal Lok Sabha seat.
The nominations filed by candidates of TRS, Congress and BJP – Pasunuri Dayakar, Dommati Sambaiah and Chintha Samba Murthy – are found to be valid, it's learnt.
