Fire breaks out in scrap godown in Hyderabad
A massive fire broke out from the scrap godown here at Mallepally near Nampally in the city in the early hours on Sunday.
A massive fire broke out from the scrap godown here at Mallepally near Nampally in the city in the early hours on Sunday. No casualties have been reported. The cause of the fire is due to the short circuit which further intensified after the explosion of compressor cylinders at a place near to the godown in Habeebnagar.
On a receipt of information, three fire brigades rushed to the spot and are trying to douse the fire. Meanwhile, the police who reached the spot are evacuating the residents of nearby houses as a precautionary measure. The loss of property is yet to be ascertained. The police registered a case and are probing into the incident.
On January 5, 2020 - a fire engulfed a garbage godown near Hanuman temple under Chatrinaka police station limits. Two fire tenders struggled for an hour to put out the fire and no casualties have been reported.
