Nalgonda: Tension prevailed at Telugu Desam Party parliamentary meeting that was held at party district office in Nalgonda on Friday when two groups clashed.

Party State president Sama Bhupal Reddy and Mopathaiah attended as guests to the meeting and interacted with party constituency-wise leaders and cadre to ascertain the strengths and weaknesses of the party in respective constituencies under Nalgonda Parliament territorial.

Meanwhile, Telugu Yuvatha State leader Mandava Venkateshwarlu of Huzurnagar constituency along with his supporters raised objections against party constituency leader Chava Kiranmai alleging her of double standards and criticised that while one hand she was attending party meetings, on the other hand she was getting in touch with Bharatiya Janata Party leaders. Venkateshwarlu and his supporters comments led to war of words and fistfights between the two groups. However, other constituency leaders intervened and controlled the situation.
