Two people were killed and nine others injured after a truck suffered tyre burst on Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Keesara.
The Maxi truck ferrying 11 people was heading to Uppal from IDA Bollaram when the accident took place. As the truck reached Keesara, one of the rear tyres burst which ensued to the mishap.
The deceased was identified as Chittemma (50) and Muttaiah (55).
The police shifted the injured to a nearby private hospital. Keesara SI Narendar Goud registered a case and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
In another case, two people were hurt after their bike was hit by a TSRTC bus at Moinabad on Thursday morning.
